Hi, I'm Katherine, food photographer, videographer, and recipe developer based in Hamilton, ON. I have a passion for food and working with brands to tell their food stories. Whether it's a flavour-packed dish at a restaurant, a grab-and-go snack for your kiddo, or quick and easy sweet treats to make on a weeknight - let me help create stunning visuals to tell your brand story.
I have a decade of experience in photography and recipe development. What started as a passion project with my best friend turned into a a business to help food businesses stand out in constantly growing digital landscape. In addition to content creation I have also worked in social media management for almost 10 years, so I also have the strategic experience to know what works on each platform. I currently manage a team of social strategist, community managers, and content creators across multiple lifestyle and entertainment brands. I have experience creating content and strategies for all major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and owned blogs.
Now a little about me outside of K Sousa Photography. I'm a passionate foodie with a love of horror movies, handmade pottery, and writing. I'm a mom to an energetic toddler and will never say no to a good movie night. I appreciate a good food pun, learning something new, and am an Formula 1 and Toronto Sceptres fan.
I do both on-location and shoots at my home studio. I'm based out of Hamilton, Ontario but am available for on-location work across Toronto, GTA, and Niagara. I will do work for brands worldwide, but prioritize Canadian brands.
